Last season, Manchester City were a whisker away from qualifying in the Champions League but they lost a very crucial and season changing match against the team which qualified in the most prestigious cup, Tottenham Hotspur. Tevez also said that, this time, the team which we have got can surely compete and challenge the top four which are Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

However it looks like that the newly appointed manager, Roy Hodgson has calmed the speculations down as he said the media that, Torres will return to training next week.Roy Hodgson is having a very tough time in retaining his star players. Arsene is really running out of time as he urgently needs a defender and make his back line as stronger as he can despite getting Laurent Koscieny from Lorient which is a French Club for a transfer fee of ten million pounds. This is because he freed both of his experience defenders, William Gallas and Mikael Silvestre.

However for the Brazilian maestro midfieler Kaka, it was totally the opposite way around. He joined Real Madrid with an approximate fee of more than 57 million pounds from AC Milan and he had one of the worst season he has ever had in his life. Kaka was completely overthrown by his fellow  mate Christiano Ronaldo which costed Madrid 80 million pounds.
It clearly shows that Ronaldo ruled because he scored 26 goals in 29 appearances whereas Kaka had only 8 starts out of 22 starts.

Eduardo joined the Arsenal club in 2007  from a Croatian club named Dinamo Zagreb. Joe Cole finally confirmed his move to Liverpool on a free transfer. Cole was released by Chelsea before the World Cup Campaign started in South Africa. One of the best England midfielders Joe Cole has agreed a four year deal with the REDS. He will be staying in Anfield for a very long period of time. Cole wants to make a mark in his first game against Arsenal and wants to prove his worth in English football. Though it will not be easy for Joe, but i and we think that he will be a great asset to the Liverpool team. Joe Cole will be accompanying in the midfield area with the likes of Steven Gerrard, Lucas, Javier Mascherano.

Joe Cole is ready to give everything for the REDS and and it is going to create a totally different combination in the midfield area. Although in the last season, Joe Cole did not appear many times in a blue shirt due to injuries but if we see the appearances he has made for both his country England and Chelsea over the years, he will truly prove his worth in Liverpool colors. We wish Joe Cola a great season with his new club and let us hope he makes the Liverpool team proud.

The Coach also says that Cole did a very good job Last season, and there is no reason for the Coach to discuss more about this issue with anyone. Moreover, Chelsea coach has also added that he wont be aiming to buy strikers as they have already got the Great ones ( Drogba, Anelka and Kalou )

Lastly Wenger said that, i want Cesc Fabregas to be focused more than he wast last season and the way he performed so exceptionally well, we want Fabregas to continue the same way and lead Arsenal team to glory by winning the Barclays Premier League and giving silverware after five years.
