Sol Campbell has confirmed that he will be leaving Arsenal football club and will be joining the newly promoted Newcastle United. Campbell will be leaving Arsenal the second time in his career. Arsene Wenger who is the Arsenal coach did not renew his contract after joining the club in January transfer window. The first time when Campbell left was four years ago when he joined Portsmouth and in 2009, he again joined Arsenal on temporary basis. Believe me, the two spells Camapbell has played at Emirates is just truly amazing. What great spirit, determination and aggressiveness he has had at this type of age. Just wonderful.

The 35 year old, center back defender had links with a number of clubs but at the end he is planning to join Newcastle and he is set for a medical test with the Newcastle Club. So Campbell has truly been a very good defender and the Arsenal fans are surely going to miss him. Sol is surely going to make Newcastle proud. He is a great player.
